Departure Locations
You will be asked to choose your Group Leader and Table Leader during registration. The Table Leader is the person who will lead you to the secret location. If you want to be seated with your friends at Diner en Blanc®, you must ask them in advance which Table Leader they are registered under so you may select the same group. There is no guarantee that there will be space under a specific Table Leader when you register. Groups fill quickly and you cannot change your group once it has been selected.
If you were recommended by a friend who is a Table Leader, please choose him/her as your Table Leader in order to ensure you will be seated in the same area. When registering, you will see a list of “Group Leaders.” Click on the appropriate Group Leader in order to view his/her list of Table Leaders. Certain groups fill up quickly so there is no guarantee that you can be seated in the same section as your friends. If there is still space, try to register under the same Group Leader as your friends if you want to be seated in a nearby area. Once your registration is complete, groups cannot be changed.
This year, most departure locations will be listed as neighborhood (e.g. Center City). We avoided using exact street corners since it is confusing for guests if the departure location is modified in the week leading up to the event.
Your Table Leader will give you your exact departure location the week of the event. A few notes:
- Center City = you can find the exact boundaries here, but the departure location will be between 5th and 20th Streets, south of Vine Street, north of Spruce Street.
- Fairmount = between Broad Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, south of Girard, north of Vine Street.
